Josie Bello - Singer-Songwriter

Josie's First Album, Can't Go Home (released April 2019) has received positive reviews from press and media with comparisons to Brandi Carlile, Kim Richey and Mary Chapin Carpenter.  The album is a collection of 10 original songs, and was produced and mixed by Mike Nugent and Kevin Kelly at The Workshoppe East in Huntington, NY.

The album Can't Go Home has maintained a continuous presence on the Roots Music Report (RMR) Weekly Top 50 charts since June 15, 2019.  The results for the "Best of 2019" RMR charts for this album are impressive -- #29 "Best of 2019" NYS RMR Album Chart,  #36 "Best of 2019" National RMR Roots Rock Album Chart and #68 "Best of 2019" National RMR Rock Chart.  

Eight individual tracks also appeared on both the National and New York State Roots Music Report Top 50 Song ChartsHang Tough, Two Trains, Can't Go Home (title track), Dignity, Keep It in the Middle, So Much More, Crush and Mother's Love.

 Can't Go Home ranked at #6 on TME.fm radio's top 20 Albums of 2019.  

The title track from the CD appeared at #1 on Radio Guitar One's Folk Cut Chart on August 8, 2019.

The CD made an appearance on the Top 200 AMA Album Chart (Americana Music Association) on August 6, 2019.  

Tracks from Can't Go Home have been added to over 100 American radio playlists. 

International play is being reported by stations in France, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium and Canada.

Josie has been featured on a variety of internet radio shows and podcasts including Acoustic Cafe, Crossroads, The Catskills Cafe, Country Stew, Folk Frontier, Folkal Point, Hillbilly Rockhouse, Landslide, Mostly Folk,  Radio Guitar One,  Roots Revival, and live in the studio March 26, 2019 on the Facebook podcast Jimmy G's Church of Music.
